This is Bid`ah

Q 1: One school day, while the teacher was explaining the lesson, he said: "La ilaha illa Allah 'there is no deity but Allah'." One of the students then said: "That is true." The teacher then told him that saying so is a Bid`ah (innovation in religion). Is this correct? May Allah reward you with the best.


A: Neither the saying of the teacher nor that of the student referred to in the question is Bid`ah.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
